Soup & Root Tea
I’m grateful for a piping hot bowl of homemade butternut squash soup and root tea. So glad I froze the extra jars last month. Added dried red peppers from the garden, olive oil, avocado slices and sea salt. It only took 5 minutes to love myself with this healthy meal. Mason jar meals rock my world and I want to feed you too!

Picking the last flowers from the tea garden
Picking the last of the tea from the ComUNITY tea garden before the freeze comes in. Fresh tea to keep us warm this winter.
I love being able to go out and nibble on the leaves of the flowers I pick while walking in the garden. They are tart like wild cranberries.  I have started putting them in salads from time to time for an unusual flavor.  I collect a small basket full when I get a chance and dry them for tea.
Re-purposed Old Desk
Re-purposed an old desk for the new office space. Of course I had to impart a lil style ;))   This was a natural wood desk.  Now painted a bright color to add some color to the space.
4th of July drink basket
When a holiday arrives I always like to create something special to celebrate.  We are heading to a friends house today so I have packed a basket with fresh blueberries, mint, and drink mixers.

The first project – oranges & cloves. So very simple but Kim Salter of Design Thoughts just did this project with me, and we had so much fun talking while we got creative. It’s easy and smells AMAZING! Try it at home or stay tuned for times it will be offered as a Project Session this month.
